Something came across my Twitter feed yesterday. It made me think.

Why Did This Tribute Drama Catch My Eye?
There are a few reasons.
One, a minimum tribute puts you in a very specific niche. Choosing to target one group of people and losing millions of potential viewers is not smart for a newbie. Yes, the right guys (and women too!) will find you eventually, but it will take a while.
Some FinDom creators wait weeks (or months?) for that first tribute.

Two, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt.
My curiosity got the best of me. I looked at her Twitter profile, and there it was. A tribute below $50 was in her bio.

My Experience Without a Minimum Tribute Requirement
Asking for tributes upfront makes sense to me, but I don’t do it.
I don’t need upfront payment to squeeze money out of a man’s wallet. Most of my subs, finsubs included, approach me and immediately spend. As I’ve said before, financial control is so much hotter than today’s FinDom era looks like.
About 30% of the time, they realize that they need to give Goddess her offerings and do it. (The other 70%, they either leave me alone or rot in my DM’s forever. I <3 both outcomes.)

Actively trying to trend isn’t a possibility for models with low rank or social media shadowbans. They could niche down and aim for brand awareness based on fetish, but they’d be relying on a handful of clients for money.
“Make use of marketing tools“
MelRose Michaels, the founder of SexWorkCEO, is a great source of information. So many sex workers do not have the tools to bring their rank up. The priority is client retention and money.
Every app and website that we use actively works against us.
I discovered that a lot of marketers, developers, engineers, and tech industry experts have excellent ideas. But, the disconnect is our pain points.
If you approach the adult industry with an idea, keep in mind:

Do research on the laws that hold our industry down: Project 2025 and SESTA/FOSTA
Our terms of service prioritize consent and are a slave to Mastercard/Visa.

This is excellent marketing advice. It’s easy to post too many ads. My genuine advice to sex workers is that showing personality is key.
We are simultaneously a product and a person. Our existence is a niche, and we are all unique.
Ad exhaustion applies the most on social media. When we try to trend or prioritize traffic, we post the same thing back-to-back. Creating fresh content on a regular basis is exhausting, and we have to find ways around that.

The answer to this switches on a dime.

So, I have to make the video first and *then* create bite-size content.
In summation, “coming soon” does not work.
